While conducting a survey in Sekhauna village, the surveyors came across two girls Seema and Arti who left studies after class 9 and 8 due to poor economic condition of the families despite the fact that both wished to continue with studies. Worker of Gramin Punarnirman Sansthan discussed the issue with their parents, but the parents expressed helplessness citing their poor economic condition. When importance of education was explained to them and they were told that the organization was ready to help, they relented.
The organization’s head discussed the issue with the principal of the Government Girls School. The principal said she would contribute the fees from her own pocket and expected that the organization would arrange books, stationery and uniform. The organization agreed. Both the girls were admitted to the school and resumed studies.
