Gramin Punarnirman Sansthan set up digital schools to impart coaching to the students studying in class 8. This school held online classes in English, Mathematics and Science. Many children including Ansh of Bhatpurwa, Sakina of Thiraipatti, and Suraj and Lakshmi of Selhapatti villages benefitted from the online classes and learnt the subjects well.
In the words of Ansh: “When I heard about online classes, I was excited, but did not know how to take part in online classes. After I took admission in the digital school of my village, there was no looking back.” His mother said she could not send any child to a coaching centre because of poor financial condition of the family. The digital school proved to be quite helpful in increasing educational level of poor children.
Suraj said the subjects were taught very well and he learnt many things. Accordig to Sakina, digital school provided a better environment for the children. Lakshmi said she was very weak in English and Mathematics and the digital school helped her a lot as she learnt lots of new things.
